red1776 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 you cant in short. If you want the IGP to run in tandem with a discrete GPU it is called AMD Dual graphics and you have to use one of the prescribed cards from here If you want to actually Crossfire, you need to get two graphics cards (any model you want) If you install a single 7970 it will automatically switch to the discrete card. d6bmg Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Just curious how I go about crossfireing the onboard 8000 with the 7970 ? Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask... Sadly, you can't.

d6bmg Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I wonder whether that 6800K would cause little bit of bottleneck while running with 2x HD7970. I'm not sure, but just a thought..
cjloki Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 i dunno D6, but good point, good lookin out !...i have the gigabyte gtx 650 in here as the physx engine so i think that's the main bottleneck to consider, and i can get plenty of horsepower out of the a-10 to take up any slack...what else am i missing ?....the thing that is buggin right now is how to get some use out of the 8000 series,...put that 8000 to work... potatochobit Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 So, is richland worth using over mid-tier FX if you do not plan to use the IGP at all?
