I have to agree if they where trying to copy your idea they f'ed it up... yours looks nice.... theres just adds alot more stuff to the case that really does not need to be there...imo

i just figured i would be the odd ball the sides with holo about there being some cases there seatbelts can kill. first off i wear mine all the time and would rather take my chance with it on then off but one of my best friend would probably be dead if he had his on when he was in a roll over. He was in the passenger seat and when the truck rolled he somehow got thrown between the driver and the steering weal.. the passenger side roof caved in and took off the top of the seat. a rare case but they do happen.

you can overclock the video card easly without cooking the laptop, i have one specs and 3dmarks are in sig edit: i think i am using 76.50 drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ to overclock. also do you know what screen you have? if you have the samsung uxga i can give you some color currection settings that will make it look alot better. to see what screen you have use the FN and turn the brightness down on the screen. there are 8 settings and the samsung will change brightness for all 8 but the LG screen will not change brightness from like 3-4 or something like that dont rember exactly

the 9300 is very great laptop for the price i paid 1350 for mine a few months ago. the gate way with the x700 will get another hour or more battery life but wont game as well so depending on what you would rather have.

imo if you are goin to spend the money on a cooler you might as well get the 256mb 6800 and just overclock it alittle with stock cooling

well we need to know a bit more like how big is to big and how much battery do you want??? But here is what i would recomend to be able to play games with. Dell 9300 with the nvidia 6800 Dell Xps2 or m170 with the 6800ultra or 7800gtx Sager 5720 with the 7800gtx http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/noteboo...roductType=5720 The 5720 would be my first choice then any of the dells. the 9300 i am guessing would get the most battery life but i am not sure how much power the 7800gtx uses in the m170 and the 5720. also if you go dell get it through the outlet or wait for a 30-40% off coupon. Edit: All of those are 17" laptops if you are looking for a smaller on i think the best video card is the x700. also www.notebookforums.com normaly has good reviews on newer laptops

are you banned from all servers or just that one? if it is that one that have a friend log into the server and ask and admin whats up and to unban you if possible..

how much does he want to spend? for about 600 the only thing new i can think of is a dell 6000 with the ati x300 if you look at the delloutlet or wait for a 750 off 1500 or something like that you can get them cheap.. The x300 is not great for gaming but it will play some low end stuff. also how big does he want it? so people consider 17" laptops small enough to take to school while others want a 12". im to lazy to see what is out right now but for $600 there is not much. if he want to game look for the x600 < x700 = 6600 or < 6800

I rember seeing a post awhile back about someone that put all his computer parts inside a fish tank and he filled it with some kind of no conductive oil that would keep the cpu cool. You could not put real fish in it but it looked cool. He had the little colored rocks and some of those pirate decorations at the bottom, might be worth looking into since you would not have to keep anything alive.

i dont mean to stick up for dell cause there tech support does suck but them sending someone out to have it fixed on tuesday is fast if you think about it. most other laptop dealers would take over a week to get the comp fixed and alot of them make you send it back to them for repair.
