I would say its far better to build your own. IMO its quite fun to build your PC. You can really customize it and make it your own. (lights, paint...)

No cons? How about its a prebuilt.

As far as prebuilts, CyberPowerPC and IBuyPower are about the most customizable. You can order parts that you would put into any custom computer, instead of the crap you get with Dell, HP, Gateway, etc.

The only real difference is their relatively limited selection and the fact that they put it together for you.

Most reasonably priced pre built I have ever seen.

Also in aus at harware prices.

Haf 912 - $115

Seagate Barra 1tb - $99

EVGA GTX 560 - $279

CoolerMaster 700watt - $129

Kingston Hyper X 8gb - $119

Asus P8Z68 - $139

i5 2500k - $229

Windows 7 Home Premium - $95

Antec Kuhler 620 - $85

Asus Blu ray - $115

Total price - $1404

40% more with the current exchange rate being at basically 1:1

Same pre-built price here $2k+ easily

No doubt a great machine at a great price but I as an enthusiast would never buy a prebuilt. You can't beat putting a machine together yourself and the knowledge gained can be invaluable when things go wrong.
