Mushkin Enhanced Atlas

Hey guys I'm looking for a 240-256GB mSATA SSD and the Mushkin Enhanced Atlas caught my eye. Do you guys think it will make a sufficient boot/app drive? Or do you think there is a better one I could be getting?

If you put a SSD in anything, its going to be a huge boost.

It's going into a laptop, Alienware M18X R2 :-)

It'll be more than fine. It's a good solid SSD.

Yeah, unfortunately the mSATA only runs at 3.0GB/s due to a chipset limitation, but buying a SATA II SSD wouldn't save me much money/GB and would limit me to only 128GB. So I decided to pull the trigger before they go off sale, or sell out.

Nice decision. In that SATA 3gbps slot, you may even put sata III SSD, and I don't think it will cause any serious problem.

Yeah, it'll just run a little slower than it is rated for.
