malmsteenisgod Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Performs a bit better than my Twin Turbo on the same card, but the Twin Turbo is cheaper. Nice review either way. Twin Turbo is cheaper? I found the Musashi for about $45 on amazon but find the twin turbo for that price of higher everywhere.
kingdingeling Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 For that kind of money I can get two Accelero S1 Rev.2's with two Turbo modules, sorry, my money went that way when I decided how to cool my 8800GTs
Verran Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 At jab-tech the Accelero Twin Turbo is $40 and the Musashi is $37. And I'll probably want an upgraded cooler for my reference 4850 soon... hmm.... Very tough call. They both look pretty darn good. Wrocky Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I had been looking to add this to a Radeon HD4830 in a 2nd computer, but it appears that it won't fit on this and a few other cards, that are not specifically mentioned on the American Scythe site. Check the official Scythe forums at: http://www.scythe-eu.com/forum/musashi-vga-cooler/ for more information about this.

The Smith Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Well, for the ones that wanted to know if Scythe plans on releasing a GTX260/280/285 compatible cooler, I'm sorry I could not get a reply back from Musashi. I will post on the forums mentioned 2 posts above.
The Smith Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 hey guys, I got a reply from a product manager on the official forums. Hi there, Thank you very much for contacting Scythe and the interest in our items. We indeed are working on something regarding the Gt200 and Gt200b chips, yet I can not reveal the information here yet. Please feel free to visit us at CEBIT 2009 or check out the news about it. if everything goes to plan, you'll see something you might like around that time Cheers, Andy
