oldandfat Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Repost with correction Finally have everything up and running!! Zooom! Couple minor hiccups in the switch..... one strange one though.... Tried plugging my internal drives into the SATA 3.0 headers (Contrary to lots of reports I read, the install of the Chipset 3.0 drivers went fine) ANd neither of my drives were even recognized (I know they are older and not 3.0 drives...but I thought they would at least be recognized) But...My DVD drive, which also is Not 3.0 IS recognized......... any ideas on that??? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

oldandfat Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Yes... the Hard drives work perfectly on the SATA 2 ports...... but when I plug them in to the SATA 3... they aren't even seen in the BIOS... and as I mentioned.. the optical drive IS.... that is the weird thing as I know for a fact the optical drive is not SATA 3 either......
