  1. ok all, i have had several people ask me where to get cpufsb, a program that allows you to change the fsb. i used it to oc a supposedly non oc friendly cognac mb with a 733 celly. allowed me to get a lil over a gig. anyway, here is the addy: http://www.cpufsb.de/index.html happy oc'ng!
  2. i just started doing this too, and i got a ton of great advice from the faq's on the main page. try that. i used a program called CPUFSB and raised my puny celeron from 733 to 906.5mhz and the fsb to 124mhz. all this on a trigem cognac motherboard. very oc'ing unfriendly. hang in there. there are good people here. i have received some great advice. happy oc'ing!
  3. just wanted to say thanks for all the advice. i have had some success with a program called cpufsb, which has so far resulted in a minor increase to 905.6mhz testing and increasing as heat allows. lol
  4. unfortunately, it is in an hp pavilion. i have worked all the bugs out of it and love it now. guess i'll just have to change the mb and chip. if that's possible. lol
  5. getting ready to do my 1st oc. can someone point me to a reliable place to give me a little guidance? going to try a 733 mhz celeron on a cognac motherboard. i have heard that it can't be done. any ideas?
