  1. I'm sorry for what happened to you, hope you get better soon! I'm not sure if these exist but I have heard about them in the past. I've heard about a pad of some sort that goes on the floor with which you can use your feet to click the mouse when you press downwards. Maybe you could use a mouse your injured hand in conjunction with one of these to help you play your favorite games again. I'll try and find out more for you. EDIT: I was referring to something along the lines of this: http://www.bilila.com/foot_mouse_slipper_mouse
  2. Hi Everyone, I'd like to ask for some help from you guys to win a competition from Computer Lounge (my local PC store). To help all you need to do is: 1. Go to this Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/A...nge/52800626124 2. Become a Fan of Computer Lounge. 3. Post "Signing up for Tanka Govender" on the Computer Lounge Wall. 4. Feel happy and congratulate yourself for helping somebody (me). Here's a picture to help explain it: Thanks, I appreciate your help a lot. And remember every post counts! Tanka
  3. Hi Everyone, I entered a HP Video Tips competition and I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me out by voting for my video. You will need to create an account first and enter your gender, first name, last name and email address, before you can vote. My video can be found in the "Transition Category" and is called: The Adventures of HP Hedgehog - What can I do with my old PC?". Tell me what you think and thanks for your help! If you need help on voting, please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks, Tanka
  4. I have a HAF932 and a V8 with a 920 (D0) and I have it at 3.2Ghz 24/7. If you want a small OC (like I have) I'd say just go with the V8. It looks great and it is a decent cooler too. At load (after 3DMark06/Vantage) it was max 66 degrees, and I've never seen it go over 66 degrees so far. Not sure about 100% load, but I guess it would be no more than 70 degrees. At stock speeds it would be even cooler, and at 3GHz, still pretty cool. The lowest temp I've had with the V8 @ 3.2GHz is 24 degrees on a cold morning And these temps are at around medium fan speed. Don't worry about any extra 60mm fans because the HAF stock cooling is great, and the V8's fan acts as an intake while the HAF932s back 140mm fan acts as an exhaust (I can feel warm air coming out of it).
  5. Is that list for only the top 20 folders? If it its, I don't really think I'll be there. Maybe I'll try folding again later and see if it works.
  6. Great Contest! I've tried folding for OCC, but I'm not sure if my old PCs actually doing anything to contribute to the team. Is there any way to find out if it is in the team? Also when I do fold my PC lags so much I can't do much on it without waiting for minutes for something to load.
  7. Is there any way to see if I'm folding for OCC, and if the Client is running, eg. a system tray icon? Do I have to always keep the command prompt open to fold?
  8. Thanks, I think I've started folding, my username is tanka12345. Does FAH use any bandwith/internet usage, and if it does, about how much? EDIT: Does FAH continue after the client is closed?
  9. Can someone please post a link to a client which would work with a Pentium 4 PC, and a client which would work with a Core 2 Duo Laptop? That way I could try some folding. (I'm not really sure about the different clients). Thanks, ^_^ Tanka12345
  10. Even though you've already ordered a new Motherboard, I would've recommended an ASRock P45XE. The P45XE features 2 Full X16 Lanes and supports Crossifre, so it would've been awesome for your 4870s. It's extremely good value at only $115 on Newegg here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813157143 Toms Hardware also rated it as a "2008 Recommended Buy" in the Core 2 Motherboard Roundup of 6 Motherboards here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/intel-p45-co...w-31473-22.html Isn't $250 pretty steep for a Mobo for a Core 2 Duo processor?

  12. Don't worry, I'll be entering as soon as I figure out exactly how to make one. On the other hand if you do close it Syd, it looks like you could benefit from an upgrade to the 3850.
  13. Thanks guys. Can someone please post exact links for the clients I would need. Eg. One for my main rig, and one for the laptop. Then I could be folding soon
