Nemo Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 An AMD 785G chipset motherboard makes a great foundation for a budget build and today our review covers the ECS A785GM-AD3 Motherboard - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/ec...d3_motherboard/
yuridude Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) Good looking board, no USB 3.0. Everything else looks great for a starter build though. Thanks for the review. Edited February 2, 2010 by yuridude
cirro Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 no usb, oh well, what are if any usb 3.0 compliant hardware anyways? no use to get a function you don't use whatsoever, or can even go out and get easily futureproofing sure, that is if it sticks and doesnt change. RadMos Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 This is my first ECS motherboard I'm very happy for her, decent overclock, all the connections I need for my HTPC, glad to see that the manufacturer is putting more effort into their products. With the 785GM-M my GSkill Ripjaws 1600MHz (red) work perfectly, which did not happen with the GB790GPT-UD3H, gskill forums are full of complaints of this combination and gives no solution, but no problem with the ECS.
