  1. I have a Twitter account, but I have never posted anything. I signed up after I got my Palm Pre. I only use it to get news and info on the things I am interested in (tech news, certain games, Boxee development, etc.).
  2. Well, thank you to everyone for the offers. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to hold off on buying a mobo for a little while due to some untimely home repairs. Heck, I may even end up selling the rest of the system if I can find a buyer for the stuff.
  3. I really wish I got to know him a little better back when I was more active. He always seemed to be the voice of reason. His posts were some of the most well composed, intelligent posts I've read (regardless of age). It's a damn shame that things turned out the way they did. Thanks for keeping his memory alive Dave.
  4. I know it is a good price for what the board is, but I won't be using the SLI portion of it. That's the only reason I said I was going to look for something cheaper. If I can't find a more "mainstream" board, I may have no choice but to go for an enthusiast one.
  5. Well, I'm not sure if I am willing to spend that much on this old of a piece of hardware. Especially since I still have to buy a video card as well. If I can't find anything cheaper (under $75), I'll let you know.
  6. I am in need of a skt 939 mobo for an older build that I'm just not ready to let go of (yet). I only have two requirements: 1.) Nvidia chipset, & 2.) PCIe x16 slot. Other than that, I'm open to almost anything. I don't care if it's ATX or mATX, or even if it has onboard graphics. It's being used as an HTPC, so a graphics card will be used no matter what. If you are looking to get rid of one that you have laying around, shoot me a PM. Thanks!
  7. Unfortunately, I will most likely be slowing production over the next couple of weeks. Not because I'm done Folding, honest. My girlfriend and I have bought a house and we should be closing in the next two weeks. So, I'll be turning the computers off more often to get a smaller electric bill before we move. Rest assured though, I'll be back after everything is set up at the house. Hell, I may even have a new toy or two (my parents did give me $4k so far). Anyway. . .
  8. I have nearly every wire ran underneath my mobo, and I haven't had any problems yet. It's been going strong for the past few months now. Be sure to post pics when you get it done, too!
  9. Antec TruePower 2.0 550W still kickin' strong over here.
  10. Out of curiosity, what are your temps like? If they aren't too bad, go ahead and bump up the VCore a tad. I'd also change the CAS from 2.5 to 3 and up the VDimm just to see if the mem has anything left in it (don't expect a whole lot, though). Honestly, for being a Clawhammer chip I'd say you haven't done too bad. Sure some have OCed farther, but with the given hardware, you're doing fine. Oh, you could always try and change the multi to 10X to see if that helps at all.
  11. First off, what's your VDimm set at (memory voltage)? I think Corsair reccomends at least 2.1V, so bump it up a notch.. If that doesn't work, try to RMA the memory. If you don't want to deal with that process, I'd absolutely go with the G. Skill HZ (your first link). Those are known to OC like crazy and still keep good timings.
  12. Generally, the only difference between manufacturers warranty, software bundle and cooler design. I'd personally go for the one with the best warranty because the software doesn't matter to me and the cooler will most likely be changed down the road no matter what. Lastly, eVGA only makes nVidia cards (but I'd love to hae their warranty on an ATi).
  13. Wave your hand next time, lol. Maybe that'll come across better.
  14. Congrats! As long as you don't go too far with your voltages, and keep your temps in check, you'll be fine. Push it further!!!
