Violating a EULA isn't illegal, technically. Selling the licenses for personal use isn't legal, but it's not illegal for you to buy it and use it. It's just "wrong". Thanks for the heads up though Just sucks it doesn't fit my needs, close but not quite :'( FWIW I know of several people who bought and installed the software with no issues. If you think what they're doing is technically illegal that's you call. It's not and if it was MS would have shut them down a long time ago.
