Also on the second page regarding the socket area it says 6 pin and for pin connections when there is only a normal 4 pin cpu connection and a 4 pin unknown? AMD has neither confirmed or denied the new moniker for the 8 cores so it is only speculation at this time. I have heard both Phenom II X8 and Phenom FX so it is only a guess until it is released. Page 2 was a typo, it is an 8-pin and a 4-pin power connector. The 8-pin still has the half cover on it which is why it looks like 4 and 4. I have submitted for a correction fix. I wasn't really disappointed that we did not have them yet because it gave us a chance to focus on the new motherboard chipset alone before diving into the new processor. The extra power connector is to provide more stable power to the CPU just like we have seen on some of the newer Intel based boards. So in comparison to other AM3 mobo's that you tested would you say that this is the best overclocker(even though they can't use TurboCore2.0 or Power Gate?) I'm sure that we will see reviews on the new processors from ya unless ur specialised in mobos only! Loving the internal USB3.0! Just hope cases start to follow the trend too(by not having mixed connections just number 3...) Whenever possible, you always want to steer clear of introducing any variables into the equation. Testing two new pieces at the same time wouldn't provide that much of a basis.
