will that work with an optical mouse or do you use a ball mouse? I'm using a microsoft wireless optical mouse Quote - General (it will work with optical. but if u use to high a grit water *from sweat* will mess it up ) The trick is to wash the surface with alcohol before use. Even though your hand is sweaty, it will dry off almost immediately.

I made one like that with the top sand blasted and 2 white leds. Will post a pic soon. How's the mouse reacting with the sanded top, i've never tried it? Works perfectly well. And smooth too.

I totally agree with you. My system shuts down few times as I forgotten to switch on my pump ( which is good when I'm not home ). And if I'm at home, my Coolermaster cooldrive 4 will give out an irritating continuous beeps informing me of the overheated CPU ( 55C).

Sounds familiar. Few possibilities, heatsink does not sit properly on cpu, cpu is dead, mobo is dead or ram gone. Try to reposition your heat sink. If that doesnt work, try use other cpu, ram on that mobo, if that still doesnt work, prepare a funeral for your mobo.
