IVIYTH0S Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Well, kinda. It's 4 "cores" each with 128 CUDA cores (so sorta like a128-core GT200b with upgrades for GPGPU apps and DX11, as far as I understand it). Designing it like that allows them to cut it down pretty easily. I wonder if they're unified or just cluster close to one another. joel.monteiro Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 gf100 isnt that good,it might be just a little better than the 5870,in the benchmarks it was giving 84 fps same as the 5870 which was
ClayMeow Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Anybody else think, "eff Fermi, I want that second car! (the green one)"?
Silverfox Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Anybody else think, "eff Fermi, I want that second car! (the green one)"? The Veyron? Bit vulgar - and doesn't look as realistic as the Ferrari in those shots
ClayMeow Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 The Veyron? Bit vulgar - and doesn't look as realistic as the Ferrari in those shots Ah, that was a Bugatti? I couldn't tell. Realistic or not, I want it
CheeseMan42 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I wonder if they're unified or just cluster close to one another. The "quad" separation seems to be new since the initial release of the white paper.

j2t Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I feel along the lines of Waco about Fermi....this 'release' of information doesn't mean jack to me...its all basically a paper launch. I'll get more interested once there are actual cards in independent reviewers hands and we have a more realistic look at what Fermi will be. Waco Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Ugh I wouldn't even take a virtual Bugatti, they're hideous. If you wouldn't take a million dollar car...well...I have to doubt your common sense.
IVIYTH0S Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 If you wouldn't take a million dollar car...well...I have to doubt your common sense. I shoulda reworded it, I would "accept" the car but then immediately throw it up on that high priced card auction . I'd never be caught driving that
