michaelzhao Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Sorry what does ET stand for? I keep seeing it pop up. Enemy Terrority. When my friends have LANS. Worms is always a favorite. Followed by Unreal Tournament. Rise of Nations and Risk (I know its geeky) are actually really fun on LAN.

Kandoo Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Here is a link to ET, for those that have not played it...don't forget to download the patch also, ver 2.60. http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefront...Territory;14380 It's a stand alone game and it's free:)
Cooler Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 My personal favourite, for single-player and multi-player alike, is Total Annihilation. Ah, that brings up memories... and TA is really friendly for even low end hardware! Biggest maps may need a bit more memory, but otherwise it's amazingly nice game for hardware from "age of stick & stone". Also, the older (pre-Generals) games from C&C series are quit nice for moderate hardware... and those can be acquired cheaply by buying "G&G: The First decade" DVD-compliation. For future hardware upgrades, the DVD also has C&C: Generals (with Zero Hour expansion) included. Most of the time it's nice to see that if LAN games can't be arranged (read: locational problem), there's always Hamachi to let LAN games being played via internet.
