Is anyone keeping up with the new "Google Glass" ?

"Damn, we're out of range of the WiFi"

"Seriously bro? Are you kidding me?"

"Yes boys. Command, mission abort, mission abort!"

Battle plans would be so much easier too; forget flanking and all that rubbish. We're just gonna take out the router.

Nicely said.

In my opinion, it is a good concept, but can easily be abused.

We are going to need some more laws about how & where these Google Glasses to be used..

me too bro, me too, but from my limited futuristic viewpoint, something like this could turn out to be another branch of the techno-human evolution,...imagine say, navy seals with google glass type tech embedded in the skull, along with implanted processor and wifi capability (borg style)...don't say i couldn't happen...

...and yea tv is corporate advertiser brainwashing, that's why i don't watch it... use the "OFF BUTTON" and your life will become simpler...

It seems there's quite an uproar in the works over Google Glass. A number of places are already banning them including McDonalds, strip clubs and theaters.

As they would any recording device. (not McD's, the others)

Glass clearly doesn't belong in places like these. I think the question is where does it belong?

Like most people, I don't want to live with the threat of constant stealth recordings of my actions being made public, but should it be illegal to do?

It's not illegal to photograph a celeb with any kind of device? What makes you or me special that we can't be recorded or documented while out in public?

We're also constantly recorded by CCTV systems while in stores or just out on the sidewalk.  If they are going to restrict where you can use Google Glass, then I expect them to stop all video recording in public.  Not that I'd consider picking up Google Glass, but what makes a company able to record everything but a regular Joe can't?

epic step in the right direction to be honest its an amazing piece of hardware. IMO people whine to much these days go on youtube people record everything as is now whether you like it or not is irrelevant lets get real here our memory is nothing but a recording device if I'm in a public place where others are, who are they to say I'm not allowed to digitally remember said encounter the only complaint i saw in that article that really has a good point for banning them is Nevada in casinos and shows in which you could record the show in 720p and re distribute it, and be honest here look at how quick videos get filtered out of youtube and removed do you really think google wouldn't do the same?
