ccokeman Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 AMD's temperature monitoring has been pretty bad since the Bulldozer architecture came out. I do use AIDA 64 and open the stress test to log the temperatures and the clock speeds to see where or if the chip throttles. Its a good indicator since you can correlate the temperature it displays to where the chip throttles and make adjustments to stay out of that range. I just finished testing a 9590 that will only do between 4.9 and 5.0Ghz IBT stable using 1.45v. Any higher and it throttles with an H100i.
