  1. I just finished the game, was pretty darn good. loved how they played the templars/assassins roles this time. graphics were amazing, but like War Weeny said, be prepared for a hit. max settings were pretty brutal in the cities. my main problem with the game, as with a few games ive gotten from steam lately. is that it keeps bringing up the userc account control thing from windows. Oh and the fact that it required Uplay to play it. but if i were to launch Uplay before i launched the game on steam it would not be recognized. its just a little redundant.
  2. Yep, same everythig, basically just changed out cards and reconnected. this is why its so odd to me. based on the amount of people that use TVs as monitors and the popularity of Nvidia cards, i feel like i might have a bad setting in my cad or something.
  3. I had an ATI before this, so i uninstaled and used driver sweeper, i got whatever was the latest and greatest at the time, (late november). I also got an SSD on black friday so i decided to do a clean install. different drivers, same issue
  4. i doubt it. itdoes 1920x1080. its even the recommended on both my cards and by windows, as far as the refresh rate, would that matter? mine does 60Hz just fine but it is "120 Hz"
  5. If that is the case, why did it work flawlessly on my ATI card? like i would power on, and 2 minutes after i am into the desktop it still set to dual monitors, because i would have a few missing icons and such. turning the TV was fairly easy
  6. im not sure what that means, is this a setting in the computer itself, or nvidias drivers?
  7. not sure what you mean, do you mean changing the input to the Computers channel? if so then yes, lets say i were to turn on the TV before starting up the computer, it works just fine, the issue is when changing the channel to, say my PS3 and then going back to PC, it just sees a "generic monitor" and i either have to restart the computer or disconnect and reconnect the connection manually to get it to work again.
  8. I have both on DVI at the moment. the TV is a HDMI to DVI.
  9. Hi all, Its been a while since i upgraded my rig. But i finally decided t go to the Green team, i bought myself a GTX680 over black friday and i love the card. But i do have one issue, i have my card hooked up to a monitor as well as a TV. and this was never an issue with my ATI cards but if i dont have the TV on when i turn the system on it will not be recognized. or if i changed the channel to something else and then came back to PC it would not recognize it anymore. does anyone know of a way to make it work in a similar fashion as my ATI card?
  10. Heres a theory that has been going around about the ending it sounds a bit outlandish but i would like to give bioware the benefit of the doubt.
  11. finished my male playthrough heres my female character
  12. So do any of you guys still use the nexus? i have 2 mods on there and im thinking of adding them to the workshop. i guess im just used to the nexus since ive been using it since oblivion
  13. I am extremely Happy with my rig. I pretty much built it so i wouldnt have to upgrade for 3-4 years and its holding up just fine. the only problem i had was the shortage of memory but the OCC Christmas contest fixed that
  14. i think you guys are supposed to change that in the bios. whenever i get new ram its always at 1333 with some weird timings under the bios, but when i change it manually to what it says in the specs it works out fine.
  15. you guys shouldnt be turning off Vsync in Skyrim. it seems that the engine cant handle more than 60 fps and it makes things start to bug out.
