Judy_Dunbar Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I found this OC Guide over at hardforum.com it appears to be pretty detailed for beginners, and it is fairly recent.
kingdingeling Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 that is indeed quite useful, but this is ours, OCCs own guide

kingdingeling Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 What do you need? Open a topic in the overclocking forums! I can't give you a step-by-step explanation of what to do, but can give general advice
Jeebis022 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 what i meant to say is do you think it will overclock good
kingdingeling Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Sure, the E6700 is a good processor, the Striker Extreme is a good board, although overpriced! Make a thread in the overclocking section, and you'll be OCing the holy smokes outta that processor in no time
crypnite Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Was starting to do some research about overclocking in preparation of receiving my parts and came across this: nforce_680i_sli_overclocking It is geared toward C2D and also has some really good basic overclocking info in it. Just thought it might be of interest, especially if anyone is using the mobo. Was going to post it in the New Overclocking FAQ, but didn't want to post so far back even on a sticky... The pictures (I'm a visual person) really helped mesh what I've read here and then being able to see it physically. Hope this might help someone else.
