  1. I have the same one as you, the controllers started crapping out after i had it for 3 months. One would die every month or so after that, there's only one left that still works Plus I had to disable the warning beep because it would stay on even if the controller was off and no fan plugged in, just not a good product. Im looking at a few on newegg, thinking about getting this one I definitely wont be getting another Scythe after this one crapped out so badly

    Diablo II

runescape....played that a loooong time ago, good times as for D2 I guess i just never got that into it, partly because my monitor cannot display native 4:3 so the game always looked stretched.
  3. Risensun

    Portal Song

    that song is addicting
  4. mmmm I have that Kaze Master and one of the controllers died on me a few months after I got it. I guess it didn't die totally, it still works if you push on the knob really hard...Other than that issue I would say its a great controller, looks very nice in my case and has the the digital read out of rpm and temps.
  5. Yeah..haven't played as much since msn zone stopped hosting. Not a lot of good matchmaking sites out there for AoE2. Mostly just do LANs with friends.
  6. wolfenstein: enemy territory Age of Empires 2, Never stopped playing this, just a great game, Persians ftw Warcraft 3, still waiting for Warcraft 4....Blizzard
  7. Well I guess that makes sense, thanks for finding that, I thought I looked everywhere but somehow missed it.
  8. Iv been building a new rig and I bought a few items a couple weeks ago and I may need to RMA something, problem is it had a mail in rebate which I already sent in. So my question is whether Newegg will still let me RMA after I have sent in the rebate and if so how that works, for instance do I tell them to ignore the rebate I sent in? Additionally the MIR requires you to cut out the UPC code form the box (which luckily I did make copies of) and sent it in with the rebate, not sure how all this works and did not find anything helpful on the newegg site. So has anyone had to send RMA something after they already sent in a rebate? If so please tell me how that works.
  9. Right now im just getting temps off the display built into the Mobo, I haven't even installed the OS yet. As for the case its a Cool Master CM 690 (case sides are currently removed), Ambient temperature is around 84 Fahrenheit. Edit: As for the guide that's actually the same one I used, though the amount of TIM they recommended did not even spread out to cover the whole processor, so I added more. Edit Edit: I think I solved my own problem, I moved around one fan in my case (so its blowing directly onto the HSF) and put the sides back on, Temperatures dropped 20 Degrees Celsius! As I install my OS my temps are at 30c, quite an improvement.
  10. I'm putting together a build and iv run into a bit of a problem when it comes to CPU temps. Right now iv got a Core 2 due E8500 running on the stock cooling because the HSF I bought was...just bad, waiting for a back plate to ship here so I can actually install it without breaking my Mobo. Anyway the stock fan is keeping the processor at around 50 Celsius at idle (no overclocking yet), now this seems really high to me even with it being stock. I even replaced the thermal paste that came with it with TX-2 ultra, which makes me think maybe I applied it wrong or something, I have no idea really. I did not bother testing it with the paste that came with it so I have nothing to compare it to. So what do you think, did I do something wrong or is this normal?
  11. Acer X193W+BD Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2000:1 (ACM)
  12. I'm playing at 1680x1050 now but in the future I hope to upgrade to 1920x1200 at which case I think a second card might be worth it.
  13. Thanks for the help. I have heard good things about this one COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case I will definitely take your advise on the E8400, I was kinda on the fence there to start. Do you think there is anything to gain by spending more on the RAM? Got some extra money left.
  14. I find you don't realize you need 2 monitors until you actually have them. For any kind of multitasking they really are great, have multiple web pages up at once or web pages/word doc whatever, also I find that it has a lot of good applications when it comes to gaming as was mentioned.
