Windows 8 scrolling reversed?

Onion

Recommended Posts

On my HP laptop, I can put two fingers on my touchpad and slide them down to scroll the page down. However, on Windows 8, it is reversed. If I slide my two fingers down, it'll make the page go up. Its really annoying and counter-intuitive. Is there a fix for this?

Wonder if it is a driver issue for the touch pad...

I doubt it's a driver issue. I know this is the way OS X is setup but there is a setting to change it. I don't know enough about Windows 8 to say if there's a setting for this though.

Nope, I tried installing the drivers thinking the same thing.

Saw something about that on google.

Just think in your head "I'm pushing the paper down, and moving up the page" :P (like a smartphone), maybe that's why it's like that

That's why they have it setup like that in OSX. It's meant to be like in IOS where you touch the screen.

Not having that issue on my Asus Ultrabook and win8 :-/

Maybe its specific to HP or that particular model?

Wasn't like that on Windows 7. Its an HP Pavilion DV6T-7000 Quad.
