  1. well the pc crashes as soon as windows loads up so no chance to run memtest, i do have another CPU maybe i should test it with that. ps the ram its working fine in other PC
  2. ok i will try the memtest, cause now all i get is bsod KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
  3. I did increased the votls on the ram, and now two sticks will work at one time, but its has crashed a few time, so i dont know how stable it is but its been working ok for now.
  4. 4 sticks 2 differnt pairs all same speed, they all worked together for some time.
  5. mobo is a GA-k8nf-9 problem is that only 1 stick of ram will work at anytime giving time, I have test all slots and all the sticks of ram all work fine unless you put more then one stick in. if 2 stick or more the PC will freeze on bootup something, with and endless loop of long beeps at post. thanks for any help.
  6. as the title say if I boot the laptop with the screen plugged in It wont stay on, if I discount the screen from the laptop and us a VGA cable to a monitor it boots fine. is the problem the screen or could it be something else
  7. also software do you guy recommend for get channel info and what not
  8. Looking a for a good Tv Tuner to record off my HDTV, the Pc I will be using only has PCI (see sig), unless I can find a cheap 939 socket with PCI-e thinking of this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16815116007 and are the USB tuner any good ?
  9. looking for cheap 939 socket Mobo AGP port preferred, also looking for a TV capture card PCI
  10. first off how would one go about testing their mobo to see if it works? The system was working fine a week or so ago, but then it started randomly shutting down. temps and everything looked fine. I noticed the Fans in the PSU stopped working, So I fixed them, then My GFX had troubles booting up, so that bought me to the conclusion that the PSU was going bad But apparently thats not so, cause with a new PSU, the GFX still will not boot. I tried a few old PCI GFX cards I had laying around Thinking could be the GFX card, but I still cant get the PC to boot. SO any ideas? AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice GIGABYTE GA-K8NF-9 939 NVIDIA nForce4 BFG GeForce 6800GT 256MB PCI-E Antec TruePower Trio 550W
