Guest ajmatson Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 From what i understand there will be a new chipset which will handle the DDR3 straps like the Gigabyte X48 did with a DDR2 and DDR3 version but they are still being very hush hush on it so I could not tell you for sure. Well sirs, you are incorrect if your graph legends are right on that page. The i7 920 certainly isn't the top i7. Why isn't the whole i7 family in that test anyway? For the games the Intel i7 965 was the CPU used. This was because of time restrictions and availability of hardware at the time of the review. The changes have been made.
