  2. What are you going to be using it for?
  3. I would say to get the new Blackwidow that razer makes. It has mechanical key switches and is actually cheap for a mechanical keyboard. There's the normal $80 one and the $130 Ultimate. I just got the ultimate and love it, even with it being a cheaper mechanical keyboard it doesn't feel cheap at all actually quite heavy, with the only real difference between the ultimate and the normal one is the back lighting on the ultimate. Here's just a couple quick reviews I found of each. http://www.examiner.com/pc-game-in-national/razer-black-widow-ultimate-review-once-you-go-clack-you-may-not-go-back-review http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=158928 Come to think of it, steel series makes good keyboards as well, the 6G and the 7G, both being mechanical like the razers. Maybe you'd like those who knows.
  4. Ahh yea the SLI test seemed to only show a max of about 1~2% drop, didn't know you were only talkin bout that sry.
  5. Is this what you're talking about? http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pcie-geforce-gtx-480-x16-x8-x4,2696-4.html Going through the pages seems to show it depends on what you are doing whether x16 or x8 will matter. Edit: Found another good link with SLI this time. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pcie-geforce-gtx-480-x16-x8-x4,2696-15.html Also, dang comma screwing the link up.
  6. 1. You can if you want, HAF plus v8 should be good enough for a decently good overclock. 2. DVD drive 3. I'd go for the 1 gig version of the 460 but the 768 mb would be fine.
  7. I hope you don't plan on using all fan locations on the phantom as you have already bought the H70. The radiator comes into contact with the 200mm fan the is included on the top of the case. You can still move that fan to the other 200mm fan spot on the top of the case or onto the side of the case. Here's the review by PCPer that shows this issue. http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=966&type=expert&pid=5 (sucks too as this is what I was originally going to do, H70 plus Phantom plus all the fans possible on this case, but I had to go with the Noctua NH C12P SE14, I hope that fits when I get home this weekend and move my computer over to the Phantom lol, I doubt a full tower would fit since there's supposed to be 180mm of space - 25mm for the side fan I'm putting in) :( As for RAM, what people have already said in this thread is great. SSD, any sandforce SSD or the Intel X25-M G2 would be good. Here's a review of them by PCPer (a 600GB VelociRaptor is in there too so you can see how much better a SSD is than a HD). http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=990 PSU, any new 80 plus gold series out would be good. NZXT just released a white one as well that's supposed to be good, it would look great in the white Phantom, the other companies that are good are Corsair, Thermaltake Grand or Toughpower, Seasonic, Silverstone, PC P&C, XFX, etc.
