Im not too concerned yet with oc'ing my machine it seems to do good stock atm i just wanna find a good video card if i could get you to post links so i can see the video card i was just lookin around a lil and i was seeing the 5770 for 130 ish let me know what else you guys find i know there are many manufactures such as xfx, HIS, sapphire and so on who seems to release the best STABLE product?

Alright well what i have is CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T MEM: Patriot Sector 5 ddr3 1600 8gbs MOBO: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H PSU: Antec 700 Watt PSU with 2x 6-pin gpu connections as my original post says im currently running a NVIDIA 9600GSO And my use of this computer IS for watchin blu-rays and playing games such as crysis 2 when it comes out and im currently playing WoW at ultra settings runs freakin amazing
  4. im sorry i really don't know about the ocing process yet im still sittin at stock for the time being i have revision 2.1 so im not too sure if there is a difference in the bios or not they did an oc on the board we have im not sure what revision but add comments to that page and see what they did and what processor they put on it well im gettin offline for the night headache is kickin my ace

HEY there this is what i'm doing im looking to be purchasing a new video card for my newly built computer and im not sure what i should get weather i get an ati or nvidia is where im unsure i have had a NVIDIA 9600GSO for almost 2 years now and im wanting to get something new like i said but unsure i have 200 bucks give or take a little i have purchased a Radeon HD 5770 but had problems running it in my old computer give me ideas, links and prices for new video cards my decision doesn't rest in the hands of the OCC members but i would like some pointers and assistance THANKS and let me know what you think

Alright i would first like to say thanks for taking the time to look at this thread my board says that the PCI Express x16 is 2.0 im wanting to get a video card that is 2.1 is this compatible or would i have to get something that is 2.0? please help me out im wanting to get a ATI/AMD what ever you wanna call it Radeon HD 6870 Card but they are 2.1 well a majority of them are PLEASE HELP THANK YOU
  8. hey there i have the GA-890GPA-UD3H and AMD Phenom II X6 1090T cept my mobo rev is 2.1 and im trying to get to 3.7-4.0 ghz and my memory is Patriot Sector 5 pc12800 8 Gbs was your oc with this model successful? pm me or reply either way

No i have not yet changed my memory yet according to the voltage on the site it's 1.65 and in my bios that option is red so im really skeptical about changing to that value as well as the other options im not too sure about changing the timings or anything else i might post an image of that later not sure yet

OKAY per mercurydoun i would like to report the following from cpu-id HW monitor my core temps were sitting at 40 Degrees Celsius after my cpu temps reached 43 Degrees i boosted my fan speed to max to provide of course higher fan speeds and lower temp below i will include a screenshot and the only thing running with prime95 and the hardware monitor is norton and firefox The temps after system cooldown but did not go above 41 Degrees Celsius but you can see the number of tests completed with # of errors or warnings

This is what i got Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H (rev. 2.1) Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Memory: Patriot G series ‘Sector 5’ Edition 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Power Supply: APEVIA ATX-AQ700W-BK 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply Heatsink ZALMAN CNPS 9500 AM2 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink right now im sitting at 3.2ghz (STOCK SUCKS) and im wanting to overclock to about 3.5-4.0 GHZ but im stuck as far as what i need to do or if this is even possible for me to do without having to purchase new hardware my memory reads on my post screen as 1066mhz ( so i would like to get this reading correctly as well) my CPU-ID DUMP can be found here http://valid.canardp....php?id=1688784 THANKS FOR HELPING im not sure what other information you would need but just let me know and i will do my best to get it for you
