  5. it turned out to be a "MONEY" issue ..i offered to get a Compaq server with two SCSI for RAID 1 and 5 SCSI for Raid 5, Dual Xeon Processers, HOT SWAP and BACKUP features but when he heared the price he almost fell off his chair so i went with a file server with just speed and drive space in it and this is what i could put together for close to 2000 for him.. If it was upto me i would put a Compac server with Raid 1 for OS and Raid 5 for storage 1 Cisco 1720 Router with 2 VLANS 2 Cisco Catalyst 1548u 8 port 10/100 ethernet switch and send him packing..but he is not willing to spend the money needed to get him up to par so he gets a 2 G P4 File server
  6. I told him i will build it and if he does not like it i will take it for myself cause i really like this setup myself and then i can over clock it and get a 9800 card and i am good to go
