  1. Just upgraded a few things 2 weeks ago. Processor: FX 8320 Mobo: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 GPU: OLD Sapphire 5770 RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600mhz CL9 CPU Cooler: Deepcool Iceblade V2 Case: Aerocool Strike X Xtreme Black SSDs: Crucial M500 120GB and OCZ Vertex 3 60GB HDDs: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green, 1TB Caviar Black, 1TB Seagate Barracuda PSU: Hec Cougar 550W Monitor: AOC 2236VW Mouse: Logitech MX518 Keyboard: Loigtech Internet Pro Speaker: Edifier M1550 Country: Philippines Looks like the GPU and the PSU are the weak spots.
  2. AMD Phenom II x2 555BE unlocked to 4 cores B55 @stock MSI 785GM-E65 4GB G.Skill 1333 CL7 @stock Sapphire Radeon 5770 OCZ Vertex 3 60GB Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB Stock AMD Cooler Hec Cougar 550W AOC e2236vw Edifier M1550 Country: Philippines Nice giveaway. How thoughtful of you to give out the upgrade we need the most.
  3. SSD's are the best upgrade you can give your computer if you don't already have one.
  4. It works even if you don't have a Z68 board. All 64 or 128GB are used as cache. If you plug it in a SATA3 port it will give you speeds like that of a regular SSD while still retaining the capacity of your HDD.
  5. Is the Crucial M4 SSD as good as that Agility 3?
  6. At that price those drives are a steal. Nice.
  7. Well, OCZ has a new line of SSDs called Synapse. They SSDs that function as cache. http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-synapse-cache-sata-iii-2-5-ssd.html Got great reviews on a lot of sites.
  8. Whichever you choose, give me the other one. Come it's Christmas. Stick with the Intel SSD. More storage would be better in the long run, as their speed is negligible when using them as boot drives.
  9. For the casual user the motherboard's onboard sound would suffice. Audiophiles however prefer to have a dedicated soundcard to go with their high end speaker setup.
  10. The X-540 speakers are better than the Z506 as well in my opinion.
  11. Competition makes better products as well as lower prices. I hope AMD gets back up on top.
  12. Price adjustment as well as better performance for BD please.
