Browser game? I thought it was just the commanding part that was able to be done in a browser. The whole game in a browser sounds cool.

 

There was that browser version of Quake a while back, maybe it will be something like that. Quake Live?

Bumping an old thread since it was all I could find. I received an email stating that I could participate in the closed beta if I wished. The reason? My system really isn't good enough, so they want to see how bad it runs for me.

 

NOTE - The system details of your computer are just below our minimum spec. We would like you to take part in our BETA and provide feedback on your experiences in-game, so that we can continue to optimize the game performance.

 

The only upgrades I've made since I submitted for the beta are a boost to 8 GB of RAM from 4 GB and an SSD. It might be time to update this old 6850. Then again, I am a stay at home Dad of six month old twins, so computer play time is greatly limited. I might try it out, but haven't decided yet.
