Krayt1x Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Does anyone know if performance like this transferes through to the KHX12800d3k3?
Waco Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 The only question I ever have when reading memory reviews is about the testing when overclocking. Is "stable" enough to get through the benchmark suites or is it memtest stable?

ccokeman Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 If it aint prime stable it aint stable! Memtest stable and super pi stable does me no good and is not a real indicator of what a product will do for you everyday. I could memtest this set over 1100MHz but but it is not stable enough for everyday use at that level. Thats why in the i5 review I showed a bench stable 4.4+GHz for the i7 870 but ran the benches at 4.2 because that is where it was 24/7 stable. Thanks for the question. jacek909 Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 In your article, you provided timings in the specifications table as 8-8-8-20. According to Kingston's webpage, KHX1600C8D3K2/4GX modules were tested to run 8-8-8-24 at 1600 MHz (see http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KHX1600C8D3K2_4GX.pdf). Could you explain the difference? Are these the same modules you tested?

Greenmaker Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Have em......love em... On my setup they are easy to boost. They come in at 1333MHz until you change their ratio to 1:4 and voltage up to 1.6vdc
