  1. Hello friend, first of all thanks for replying to my previous posts. Your suggestions and guidance helped me a lot. Now as i had purchased C2D E7500, i want to overclock it. I am a total beginner in this field. I searched a lot on net and forums, got various ideas, used clockgen but i am not able to OC my cpu. Then, at last, i tried from my BIOS. I edited Bus Speed there. Initially it was 266 and multiplier is 11. So i incremented Bus Speed with 5. My system OCd very well upto the Bus Speed of 299 but on 300 it got unstable after logging into my user account. It so happened that PC logged in successfully but after 5 mins. a blue screen came and said "Dumping to Trash...." or something like that. At that time i remembered that somewhere on the net i had read that we also have to increase Vcore voltage and have to OC the RAM. So, i got helpless because i didn't saw any editable field in BIOS for the same. So, i request you people to please guide me in this field. Please give me step by step instructions if possible. And also tell me what softwares shall i use for it and how to use them. The detailed specs of my PC are as listed below. Also i am posting CPUZ screenshots (without OC) so that you could get better idea of my hardware. Thanx. Mainboard- MSI G41M-P26 CPU- Intel C2D E7500, 2.93 GHz, 3 MB cache, FSB 1066 RAM- 4 GB DDR3, Dual channel
  2. Hello people, i had just bought the above mentioned graphics card. I want to know how is its performance and quality? After installing this card i played NFS underground. I just can't see any difference or any advantage in this game. Is it really good a card? And if it is then which games would put this card for real tests? Also i wanna know which latest games are compatible with this card? Please provide me with the list of such latest games. Thank you.
  3. Hello friends, I just got a new mobo MSI G41M-P26 and planning to buy Intel Core 2 Duo E8400. Now the only question is that what and which RAM shall i get for these two so that i can utilize their efficiency to the maximum extent. I googled for that & i got this topic as 'Dual Channel RAM". I don't have the faintest idea what is it and how it can be configured. I want to get 8 GB DDR3 RAM. I also searched CORSAIR website for the same but didn't got any clue about this 'Dual Channel' memory. So please, if any one of you can help me out what this term means and can i use it on my CPU and mobo assembly and if yes then how shall i achieve it. It would be of great help for me if my question is answered here. Thanks.
  4. Thanks friends, Maximum applications i would run simultaneously will be Nero DVD Re-Writer, Torrent-downloads, copy-pasting of files from one of my hard to another (i have a 40 GB and another one is 500 GBs), HTTP downloads (min.10), video player and browsing internet. These are the tasks which i'll be doing at the same time occasionally. So shall i go for C2D E8400 then? Also, i would like to know what makes cumputing speed faster, higher FSB of CPU or its cache?? And if my mobo says--- IntelĀ® G41-based mainboard - Supports FSB 800/1066/1333 MHz - Supports two DIMM DDR3 800/1066/1333*(OC) DRAM - 4 SATAII ports and 4 rear USB 2.0 ports - 7.1 channel audio output Then can i use the current RAM which reads "Memory Module DDR3 1333 2G"????? And can a processor whose FSB is 1033 MHZ be used with this mobo?? One again thanks all for the responses and replies, i really appreciate this. Now again seeking your help for the second time. Thanks.
  5. Hello members, this is my first post here. I am a new member and i am from India. So please neglect any errors i make in the language. I just bought a new mobo namely MSI G41M-P26. Also i have the 2 GBs of DDR3 RAM (single module). Now i want to buy a processor for this mobo, i've sorted out from core-2-duo and core-2-quad processors. I've chosen C2D E8400 & C2Q Q8300, Q8400. Now my Big Q, about which i am confused is that which one is better in computing-power, C2D or C2Q? And which one shall i get out of the above mentioned CPUs and why? I will also upgrade my RAM to an additional 4 GBs. And one more thing, you might think that why i bought this obsolete technology's mobo then i will say that that's the another painful story!! And, also, these are the only C2D and C2Q processors available still in indian market, so please suggest me out of the above. One more thing, FSB for mobo is 800/1033/1333 and RAM is also having 1333 MHz frequency. So friends, it will be of great help for me if you wise people suggest me wisely. All your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
