  1. Well, mods forgive me, I forgot that I meet the date requirement to create sale threads but not the requirement for minimum posts. This thread can be deleted if a mod sees fit.
  2. Price: $100.00 Shipped Selling my E4500 that I purchased in early January, comes with the stock Intel heatsink and full retail packaging. This processor has been running great for me, easily overclocked to 2750MHz but I lacked the proper cooling to take it any higher. I accept Paypal, and ship via USPS Priority Mail. Heatware is in my sig.
  3. Yeah, the DK definitely has CMOS Reloaded. That's also one of my favorite features, I used to have an NF4 SLI-DR and used it all the time.
  4. I've owned the DK P35-T2RS for a little over a month now, and it's been a fantastic board thus far. Mine has tested up to 500MHz stable, layout's nice, all solid capacitors, just an overall great board for someone who doesn't care about Crossfire/SLI. I made a post when I got the board over at OCForums with some pictures if anyone's interested in the board and wanted to check them out. Linky. I'll probably repost it here, as I'm getting an E8400 soon and will be posting a lot more OC info on this board.
  5. Well, the upgrade has happened. I should have my card early this coming week: I had a bit more cash to spend than I thought I would and snagged an X1950XTX 512MB off EBay for $250. I can't wait, I've already downloaded the drivers in anticipation, haha.
  6. Hmm, that's interesting. I did plan on folding with it, but since it's primarily for gaming I really need to put the money where the performance wins out.
  7. Thanks for the replies, all. For those interested, I found a pretty good review that seems to indicate the X1950XT is the way to go. It also happens to be cheaper than the X1950PRO 512MB right now, so it's win-win. http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view....;cid=3&pg=1
  8. My MMO addiction was EverQuest. However, I was 18 when it came out so I wasn't exactly worried about contributing a lot to society at the time, anyway. I played fairly steady from 1999 to 2003, but probably not much more than I would've wasted on video games in some form or another. I've never been much of a television fan. Met a lot of cool people that I still talk to/game with in some form or another, though. My buddy from Sweden is coming back to the States again to visit this fall. I've found now that after the first "wow" factor of a first-person MMO, others just haven't held my interest. I was in the beta for WoW and played a little at release, but quit shortly after. Didn't touch an MMO after that until this past winter. I play EQ2 some now with people from my original EQ guild, but it's very sporatic and casual, and generally only if I don't have another game to play. Which is definitely how I prefer it. Two things you can do with an addiction - quit or let it run its course.
  9. Hey everyone, I'm going to upgrade my 7600GT, but I don't want a DX10 card due to the fact that there aren't going to be native DX10 engines out for quite some time. I'm curious about which X1950 I should go with, the XT or the PRO. Both are basically the same price, except the PRO has 512MB of RAM and the XT has 256MB. The only comparisons I can find only compare the 256MB PRO, and the main one is from THG who I generally don't trust.
  10. Beyond using a different DNS server that might speed up browsing some, there's really not a lot of optimization to be done network wise in XP. It's not like the good ol' Win98SE days where you could do all kinds of neat things to the commstack.
  11. Hey everyone Found the forums from this review, as this is the motherboard I'm currently considering for my new E6420 build. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has picked one up to play with and what results they're having. Great review, by the way. -shadin
