  1. hm speaking the truth i don't have (dint make at the time) so i see that i cant get more speed from this marvell controller, then why do Asus use so annoying controller? any whey thx all for helping on this issue.
  2. BIOS -> Advanced -> Onboard Devices Config -> Marvell SATA Controller is set to AHCI MODE and enable did the secure erase and the performance is slightly better but i can get the recommended performance is this because of this marvell controller is shi**?
  3. propobly i have a SATA III cable laying some where but the ISOP im more interested in any whey the performance start up on windows is much better now i have run a AS SSD test and my score was pretty low thug im going to try change the cable and post the result
  4. both but after restart windows was wiling to go only in recovery mode (no safe mode) lucky i manage to do recovery (via 3rd party need to d some minor changesstill but bter als reinstaling the fhoul system) and have update only the marvell driver (no firmware) and i get slightly improvement but still no recommend IOSP read write performance i have read a couple of article about marvell contrller and i now that they are miles away from intel controller but still such a Hugh difference on os disk i have fast over 2x less IOSP read write as recomendete, and on no os disk lil bit over 3x read write performance is there a whey to get more performance or is this max for the marvell controller?
  5. did all than u mention, i was trying to update marvell controller and now my system is D.E.D. i hope that i can do recovery and not formatting my system over again
  6. Trim and AHCI are enable and Chipset driver are the latest that i can get for a marvel 91xx controller just update to the latest marvell drivers but the random read / write IOSP are still low is this be cuse of marvell controller or im doing something wrong
  7. Hey recently (about 4 mounts ago) i bought a 2x SSD Samsung 840 but after os reinstalling few days ago my read speed is a little bit to low, before system reinstalling i was not having this problem i try to set up some tweaks from this site http://www.computing.net/howtos/show/solid-state-drive-ssd-tweaks-for-windows-7/552.html but that didn't help at all, the performance on D drive (non os drive): the performance on C drive (os drive): and i have some (*trouble ) with windows safely remove devices, he's showing my ssd drives earlier he was not showing my my ssd drives on this
  8. mic can be jack but headset i would go to wireless or rely long cable i didn't dice yet PS im thinkin about this http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/headsets/devices/7362 http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/headsets/devices/3228

  10. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/5861 I have this set and is pretty good
  11. in short SATA 6GB/s are not for regular user right and on win 7 i would not get 100% of performance from this SDD 6gb/s
  12. Hey. A question like topic. My mobo is ASUS P7P55D PRO Let set that i would connect a SDD 6GB/s to this mobo. What for speed i would get ?
  13. have a partition with 60GB on windows 7 64 bit with programs and stile i have 25GB space free so a 80GB SDD will be good
