Verran Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 While I think that "blazing fast performance" is an almost comical overstatement, this card actually did hold its own given its price-point. $55 is very good for a new card with 256MB. It'd be a very realistic candidate for an HTPC, given the small profile, good amount of memory, and low price.
kendellrt Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Good, honest review. I think that the fact that it has HDMI is awesome. If you can't spend a lot and want an HTPC, there you go.
OweO2004 Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Good review although considering its price point maybe including competition from nvidia (ie the 8500/8400 range) would have been better than including the HD2600/8600 cards. Judging from a purley gameplay point of view this card is quite frankly useless even on very low resolutions however as an all round package for use in a HTPC it does offer quite alot of features for the price point.
