Erosannin Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) CPU-Z is exactly right buddy as DDR stands for Double Data Rate so you have to multiply the number CPU-Z gives you by 2 (400MHz x 2 = 800MHz). And in your Bios you can set your RAM at 533MHz (or 1066MHz depending on your Motherboard.) Some people better at explaining than me will give you more detailed explanations in a few minutes/hours. darren1 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 hi, thanks for the reply, however if i upsteep the memory to 533mhz, then why in the memroy score rating so low in vista? i would of thought that by acheiving that i would get a bit better rating on the memory side of things? wevsspot Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 You don't have the correct DRAM frequency set in your BIOS.... or CPUz is reporting it incorrectly. Boot into BIOS and tell me what your DRAM frequency is set to and what your BIOS reports it running at.
