My mom and anything she does involving a PC.

I don't even know where to start. Nice build none the less.
-
I never saw what was so funny/disturbing about this. Don't mean to sound like an @ss but in my opinion it's just dumb.

Looks a lot like the Silverstone Raven line, but I haven't seen that model before.
-
Looks pretty bad butt. edit: ha, censored.
-
I'd like to go but it's a 15 hour drive for me and my car gets like 13mpg.

Andrewr, you're my new hero.

I hate windows live so much. Found a way to make an offline profile, I was so close to pirating this game.
-
So I gave up on this for a while but I'm still not able to connect to live through game. I am able to log in to the GFWL client just fine and have opened all the ports required. I believe my clock is set correctly.

Yeah, I plan on getting the CPU at microcenter. The i7 930 is only $20 more but after you get a compatible board the price starts to go up a little.
-
He asked specifically for an i7 but I don't think he did any research, just thought that's what he wanted. I figured the i5 750 was a good trade off to stick to his budget.
-
From what I was told he wants to run video editing software and do some web browsing. As I can figure it, he plans on ripping/downloading video and burning it. I'm going to see if he'll drop the blu-ray though. Besides that and maybe a better GPU, does it look descent enough?

point taken, I updated the first post.

So I'm building a pc for someone at work, he gave me a budget of about $900. He says he wants a Blu-Ray Burner, which I don't get. Also he seems to think he needs 6GB of RAM and a TB of HDD space. I think his requests are a little unnecessary but I'm trying to be accommodating. I will not need to buy a case or peripherals. Here's what I'm looking at: CPU Intel i5 750 Motherboard MSI P55-GD55 RAM G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB Video Card MSI R5770 Hawk Radeon HD 5770 1GB PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX HDD Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS Burner LG WH10LS30K 10X Blu-ray Burner THis comes close to $1000, any suggestions as to how I could better the performance to price here?
