  1. Agreed, really liked the acrobatics. They make the game look so much more alive and involving. One of my favourite moments in the original Crysis was running through a thick forest at night abusing many different suit modes and diving in between and under fallen trees and rocks and using the environment to my tactical advantage. It felt just like a scene out of a movie. If this next Crysis can make it look like a movie too, while giving me fun and exciting multiplayer at the same time it just might be a winner.
  2. I own one, that is what makes me dislike them. My case came from the factory with a space too small for the fan to turn so it split into pieces and flew everywhere. After 3 months I managed to get a new case from them... with the same damn problem. USB ports are upside down in the case, and lots of things were just shoddily done. And at the time I took my case in to send it in for Warranty there were at least 4 other people with the same case with similar problems and more. I don't want anyone to go through the crap I went through.
  3. Whatever you do don't go for one of the Thermaltake V9s. I wouldn't recommend ANY thermaltake. CM 922 would take my vote.

I was just killed by a creeper a good 40 seconds after it exploded. xD And VERY far away from it. And some things seem to be worse then others. The box of items for 'n00bs' is the worst offender, followed by that creeper. Another chest responded within about 3 seconds. :/

340 ms on average. I thought it would be worse considering the lag I've been having.... Is 340 too bad for a game that's NOT an FPS?

Ah, I found it. There seems to be an enormous delay for me. I have to right click on a chest and wait about 15 seconds to get into it. I apologize if I accidentally left a hole in someones lawn near the spawn. I thought that delay was me being prevented from having any effect on blocks or chests. My experiment proved me wrong. >.>

Where do I find the IP? >.>
  8. Same here, the 3G connection on my iPhone in Australia isn't the fastest either. Had to boot up the PC to make seeing the pictures worthwhile though. Fantastic scans, so much easier to read then the crap I'd seen before. Thanks IVI.

I must have missed something, but I can't see how to connect to the server?
  10. I found this article here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/gaming-software-graphics-cards/253667-quadro-driver-tweak-how-make-your-quadro-geforce-driver-side.html I'm not sure if that will help in your specific situation, but give it a once over and see if anything is relevant to you.
  11. 880 it is then, thanks a lot. Does anyone know anything about the last gadget I mentioned? The FiiO L3 Line Out Dock (LOD) Cable For iPod and iPhone? http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L3-Line-Cable-iPhone/dp/B003UCESP8/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b
  12. Really liking the sound of those beyerdynamics. DT 880 and DT 990 both seem to fit my bill very, very well. Still undecided on the amp and earphones though. One this I've noticed is that the DT 880 and DT 990 are both about the same price, seem to have the same specs and seem to be marketed around the same level. I'm having trouble picking out exactly what the difference is, and which one is better.
  13. One the headphone side I've been looking at these two: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD595-Performance-Premiere-Headphones/dp/B0001FTVE0/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Audiophile-Headphones/dp/B0042A8CW2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce The first is far more in my price range, I'm not looking to spend any more then $320 all up, I'd love some super high end Audiophile headphones, but I really can't afford it as a student. At the moment I'm borrowing a pair of Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones, which are pretty good, but not incredible. Build quality has been pathetic though. As for the earphones, I've been looking at the HEAD-DIRECT RE2s. No, not phenomenal audio quality, student, remember? They seem to be really nice value though. http://www.amazon.com/HEAD-DIRECT-RE2-In-ear-Headphones/dp/B001B4E4WE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1279382224&sr=1-1 That coupled with this nifty little amp: http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-E5-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B001P9EQH8/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b Not sure how much it will improve the sound quality with the low end earphones, but I'm hoping it will help drive the headphones a bit more. Also pointed out to me was this device: http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L3-Line-Cable-iPhone/dp/B003UCESP8/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b I am, erm, not sure. Will this actually do anything? In my experience, audio quality with iPods has been pretty... Meh. To say the least, haven't really had a chance to get comfortable with it with my iPhone yet, but I can't imagine it being a whole lot better. I'm not sure I quite understand exactly how this device will improve the quality of the iphones audio, so I remain sceptical.
  14. I have to urge you not to get that case. I am currently the miserable owner of one and I could not regret getting one more. I've had to send parts of it back to Thermaltake countless times, it doesn't accept the heatsink I needed for my CPU, so I have to have the side panel off, and it's just a generally poorly made case. Please, consider something like the Coolermaster CM690 II, a much, much better case and around the same price if not cheaper.
