Connor Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I use the Screen Video Capture. It enables me to capture video from screeneasily. With its bulid-in converter, I can convert videos to the format I want.
NirmalPrime Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 like the title says, anyone know the best screen capturing software? I've used a bunch of free ones in the past and either limited to 640 and or MPEG. I'm looking for something to has a wide range of options (free or not). thanks, I use MSI afterburner you can easily overclock gpu and also no lag while recording also low file size! ty2010 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I've been using virtualdub lately, h264vfw as the codec, uses 15% processor for 960x720, 18-19 for 1280x720 @30fps and 24 cfr main profile. Had a lot of borked mp4s that would play but would not reencode, stream or remux. Vdub wouldn't cap the sound from the desktop but it muxed with the original sound without timing issues. Nvidia had bundled sw but it was low res and crappy quality, the plus side was near zero processor load.

ccokeman Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 ShadowPlay if you have a Kepler based GPU. Very little overhead thanks to the built in H.264 encoder built in. Late but this is a newer development!
