  1. Thanks everyone, really proud of this build! Anyway, out of curiosity, how much would an overclock of ~4.1ghz decrease the life of my CPU? Thanks everyone!
  2. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nTfp How's this build? I know I overpayed a little for the mobo, just really liked the phase system on this one, also I need the overkill PSU since I'm planning on future crossfire.
  3. I am thinking of buying the Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 TH, but from this test http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z77x-up5-th-z77a-gd80-z77-oc-formula,3305-24.html I see that it has no PCH voltage overclocking. It went on to win the competition in the review, but I was wondering how important that feature is.
  4. Yeah, now I'm stuck- really want to stick with this, but I realized that the mobo has a D-PAK mofset. Will that hurt the performance during overclocking? I'm honestly just thinking of just going with the Mpower for $40 more (it has built in wifi, so I'd save money on an adapter).
  5. Do you have a link that proves that? I heard from a couple of people that they were much improved...
  6. What causes you to lean away from MSI boards? How high do you think I could push it (Not planning on going to extremes anyway, just curious)
  7. So you think I should pull the trigger then? No need for any kind of change?
  8. Haha, I remember reading about that, it was what nearly pushed me to an inferior Asus board, lol. Do you think it'll hold up to some overclocking though? Is their build quality good enough now?
  9. I'm paying around $1200, and I'm ready to pull the trigger. My main concern was with the motherboard. Is 6+2 sufficient for moderate (not extreme) overclocking? The 8+2 motherboards are $50 and up, and I really don't know if I need those at all. I don't think I do, but I'm not sure what overclocking capabilities this system already has. Thanks for the help.
  10. I am buying pre-built from ibuypower (sadly don't have the time nor the resources to do my own build), and I am planning to do some minor or moderate overclocking (4.3-4.6ghz) in the near future, and I will perhaps add crossfire later on as well. AZZA Armour Gaming Case Intel
