Listed in the order of use (by me, otherwise server would be #1):

 

Main 2GB (well one stick of Ballistix just died actually...replacement on the way however)

Laptop 1GB

Server 2GB

LAN Rig 2GB

Shuttle 1GB

old P4 HP 512MB

 

Not in use, but should be:

And a 2 x 1GB DDR2 Micron Eng Sample (not mine actually...but it is for sale hint hint)

a 2GB PQI "turbo" kit (loaned to a friend along with my DG965WH)

and a lot of 256MB PC3200 sticks i dont need anymore :-\

2GB here. And what is the point of even having 10 GB? 0_0

if you do anything serious on your computer like professional printed media or automotive design engineering... pretty much any large-scale 2D and 3D graphics as well as databases, can consume and benefit from large amounts of RAM...

 

if you just use your computer for games, internet, MSN messenger, email, and downloading, then yeah 10GB is overkill lol

It should be noted you're talking about a server environment and not a desktop environment. 10GB on a desktop...lol

I've herd bigred talk about having 16 gigs. you might want to up that option...

 

 

 

upto 32 on the main rig. 4gb dimms finally showed up

 

 

2GB here. And what is the point of even having 10 GB? 0_0

 

 

 

try opening cad files that are larger than your amount of ram. hence the reason a meer 10gb wouldn't be good enough for me some days

i'm talking about a pro workstation, not a server

 

i'm not even a professional yet, and i sometimes can run out of memory with 2GB physical and 3GB swap... you could easily need 10GB or more RAM in a non-server system
