Bosco Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I am talking about Crysis. Everytime I start to talk about it my blood boils
iKillSteal Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I'll be sure to remember not to bring up Crysis the next time I get myself close to being banned.

NCC10281982B Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Hey we've only got a year (assuming an 18 month development cycle) to to wait for the squeal.
ccokeman Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 In some games we do max the settings COD4 Bioshock Company of Heroes WIC is maxed except for the AA 3Dmark 06 is left at the defaults for a broader comparison so you can compare to scores on the ORB if you wanted to. You can run high settings with no AA in Crysis all day long with many video cards out right now. When you throw AA into the picture the cards just choke. Call of Juarez is midway up the settings ladder. ATI does better on this bench anyhow.
Compxpert Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Very promising. I had been considering purchasing the VisionTek ones as they are cheapest on Newegg ATM. Plus who can ignore a lifetime warranty. Technically all the 4870s right now are based off AMD/Ati's reference design so they are all the same might as well go with the best value. Edit: Just noticed that nearly all the 4870s listed on newegg now are under $290 with only two exceptions but all are under $300 now.
