  1. Yea was looking at that too, not too keen on all the flashyness but has some nice features.
  2. Yeah, I'm one of those people who likes uniqueness. The HAF cases certainly do their job, and have many fine features. The case I have now is a Lian Li V1000B Plus, which, at the time, was sufficient, sleek, and sexy. But with limited cooling options and the heat of today's hardware, I just find I'm looking for something that'll last me another 5-6 years. I'm not much for the flashing bright LEDs and whatnot, which would annoy me on the HAF cases with the super bright red front LED (not sure if there's an option to turn it off). I'm actually looking into the RV02. For about $30-40 extra over the RV03 you get an extra fan for hard drives and less of the gawdy gold trim. You also get awesome filters that slide out from the bottom fans which adds a nice cleaning touch as well as extra room for an 8th expansion slot down the road. The only thing I would hesitant about would be having a non-reference 6950 2GB (Sapphire Dirt3 Edition with dual fans). But I'm sure it doesn't make too much of a difference since the slot brackets have holes in them as well as an exhaust area in front of the back panel area. Any hot hair coming outside of the card would just be pushed back up and out.
  3. Yeah that's the thing that bothers me, it NEEDS additional fans to really get a good airflow. And I guess a lot of cases are like this, but the Phantom seems to be the worse off without purchasing extra fans. I also hear it has problems with the H50 like products since they bump up against the top 200mm. But God is it sexy.
  4. Hi guys, new to this forum but was hoping to reach out and get some opinions. I'm looking for a nice mid-size to full-size tower <$150 to upgrade to. No craziness in system build, currently running: Phenom II X4 965 w/ Corsair H50 Sapphire 6950 2GB 8GB G.Skill Cooler Master 600W Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Both the HAF 932 and Raven RV03 are $139.99 w/ free shipping on Amazon, and the Phantom NZXT runs about $139.99 on Newegg (however they do have a -15% coupon until tomorrow). I think I'm leaning towards the RV03 because it would be super easy with both 180mms at the bottom. The left one pushing air up through the 6950 and the right one pushing air up towards the H50 in a push/pull out the top exhaust. My concern with the Phantom is that white aesthetically pleasing and nice added fan controllers, there's no real air coming into the case. The side 120mms just blow through the hard drives cages out the side. That leaves no real air coming in to the motherboard/video card with the H50 pulling air from the rear slot and then sucked up by the 200mm exhaust on top. Would have to buy a 140mm to go in the front or connect one to the side panel to bring air in. The HAF 932 is probably the ugliest but has a nice set-up inside with cable management and airflow. Would prob switch the top 230mm for two 120mms but other than that, it looks solid. Any suggestions?
