  1. A few days ago the project description gave me this: I let it run its course once, but it downloaded another project with the same description. I tried making a new client, but the same problem appears. Also, I do get the points for the work, which is around 8000 for 10hrs of work. Anyone ever had this problem?

    Hawken

Hawken is free-to-play and the open beta status basically means it's officially launched. December 12, 2012 was the launch date for it. I've barely had time for it. its not as fun as it sounds tho... That is purely your opinion - and from what I gather, it is because you don't like the HUD and view shake. no i dont like the game period. if it was a good game then i would have played it even with the screenshake and what not. its just plain and boring, the graphics arent that great either and the lack of singleplayer is quite a shame, atleast let players play vs bots or something, just to get into the game instead of directly rampaging against players who have played the game intensly and shoot the crap out fo you >.> free or not, its just not for me So what your saying WarWeeny is that you don't like the game? You know if you add more quotes to your comments I think I might not like HAWKEN anymore either, period exclamation point.

    Hawken

HAWKEN may not be a fully loaded game, but its FREE and fun. Until Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3.
  4. The free open BETA of HAWKEN may have been out for awhile but no one told me. The sign up took me seconds, but the download (around 1.4gb) was about 15 minutes. The in game main menu is pretty basic and simple, like the in game options. I first did the turtorials then I went online. They have a few game modes to choose, I went with Team Death Match. Finding a game was instant and full. No lag, sweet graphics, nVidia PhysX, and Xbox 360 controller compatible (includes use of Microsoft headset). Plus its all free. You can't beat free. You play matchs and earn credits, to buy or upgrade mechs. I have no doubt that HAWKEN will be my FPS for awhile. For those who like to rock with friends feel free to MSG me in HAWKEN my handle is ThInK187. If anyone wants to join go to http://www.playhawken.com/ From my understanding HAWKEN will continue to be free even after the BETA.

  6. Yep. Also do you have a upgraded heatsink? Cause my i5 760 got to max temp real quick with prime 95 even without overclocking. If you don't scrape up about $35 US and get a Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212. You don't want to burn out your CPU.
  7. When you can post your system specs. so we can help narrow the problems. Also are you overclocking in a OS ,BIOS or both? If your goal is to get higher frame rates (FPS) in games, then overclocking your CPU is not going help much.
  8. Most BIOS have a fast boot or post option which is on by default. Check out your BIOS settings. You may also want to check your handbook to make sure performance settings are on to help with your overclocking. Also think about dual booting. You may find Windows 7 handy to have around.
  9. Not a hug sale but there are a couple of good ones. http://www.gamefly.com/download-games/
  10. Thanks for the info Frank , since the release of the X version I though it was a software glitch that they just kept overlooking. That and my EVGA GTX 460 is factory overclocked so the needles where way off.
  11. @Frank I think Cespenar is talking about the BLUE and ORANGE needles not aligning with the displayed GPU Clock speed.
  12. You can try to repair the button your self. If all else fails. Its NOT hard at all. Use this web sites last pictures for visual help. http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=594646
  13. Since the release of XCOM I have been trying to keep a balance between soldier hiring, soldier will, technology, while trying to keep order across the world. I had game great game going until a bug started causing problems, so its back to square one. Thankfully XCOM is awsome so I don't mind restarting. If anyone has ideas on how to keep progress going smoothly, please share with us.
