ummmm i have no clue all i do know is that to my knowledge everything is wired to manual specification -

hi. this is what my bios settings are for my memory speed:::: Fsb mcm = linked Fsb memory ratio = sync Fsb QDR = 1066mhz actual fsb QDR = 1066mhz Mem DDR = linked actual mem DDR = 533mhz my memory timining settings are = 5-5-5-15-2T TRRD @ 2 = 2 TRC @ 16 = 16 TWR @ 3 = 3 TWTR @ 7 = 8 TREF @ AUTO = 7.8us my ram voltage is set @ 2.2v Update!!!!!! just checked my bios on boot up and its showing the memory as 1066mhz followed by 533mhz ram speed... i hope that will give you more information? i hope that will give you some guidlines -

yes i understand that but should i still get a low rating of 4.5 in my memory base score??? or should it be higher? -

hi, thanks for the reply, however if i upsteep the memory to 533mhz, then why in the memroy score rating so low in vista? i would of thought that by acheiving that i would get a bit better rating on the memory side of things? -
Hi, maybe someone can advise or possibly help me here????? ive just recently installed 3x1gig of ddr2 kingston hyperx memory: model no.(KHX8500D2/1G) now i've run the adequite timings in bios as set to : 5.5.5.15.2T @ 2.2v but cpu-z says its only 400mhz rated? ok i admit i have only 3 sticks in 3 allocated memory slots in use, but surely even with the settings and voltages all set up correctly... what seems to be the problem? my system specs are below:::: MAINBOARD - EVGA 780i sli CPU - intel core2quad @ 2.4GHZ stock speed MEMORY - kingston hyperX pc8500 @ 3 x 1 gig sticks @ 1066mhz DDR2 STORAGE - sampsung spinpoint F3 1TB hard drive OPTICAL DRIVES - samsung dvd rom (S-ATA) & liteon dvd-r/rw/ram drive(IDE) VIDEO - ATI radeon X1950 pro@ 256meg GDDR3 PSU - OCZ MODXTREME @ 700W BIOS REVISION - P10( newest bios updated) OS - windows vista ultimate x86 (32bit) i do hope that information will help and i do hope that someone can help me as this is pretty annoying .. i will await any help that will be appreciated...
