These are gameing cards, wouldn't you be better off with a work station video card, you might be able to find a used one on ebay in your price range.

I'd happily buy a workstation card if I could afford it. At this budget, gaming/enthusiast cards are going to outperform any workstation model. However, anybody should feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

As long as you go for AMD, you cant really go wrong with OpenCL stuff.
