kennethk Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 How often do both companies release CPUs? Since intels probably going to charge $500s for a brand new CPU I'm just wondering if I should wait a bit to see what they offer or just buy the 8350. ir_cow Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just overclock a 8350 and you have the same thing, 5ghz on a cpu that shouldn't be running that high.
ccokeman Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 yes well technically there is a 4930k but nobody with a normal income buys that. Define normal income! Socket 2011 4960X 4930K 4820K Socket 1150 4770K 4670K AMD has ben stated but those chips are really just overclocked Vishera chips so you could go with 8350 as the best alternative

Not specifically in that order. The national minimum wage of $7.75 nets over 16K for 40 hours. Even if it takes 2 jobs to get 40 hours. Jobs that start at $11 an hour for 40 hours deliver 23K in compensation. My son was pulling in close to 30K with OT at $12 and hour.
