  1. I am one of many that got dissapointed in todays music and has discovered J-Rock Bands like Dragon Ash, Malice Miser, Glay all rule Long live ShakkaZombie
  2. Ive got a SYKES Genus GE/3 made by Altos computers "it an altos 586" from 1983 CPU is a 8086 It has all the upgrades like the High Byte / Low Byte ram card serial com card "not a card like ISA or such" this card is a little over a square foot and attches flat ontop the Mo Bo This is a multipost system which can handle 5 users or more (8) with optional cards. To connect the terminals, there are several RS232 ports at the back of the system, labeled JA, JB, JC, JD, JE, etc... The ports not used by the terminals can be used to connect a modem or a printer for example. Xenix was the Microsoft "adaptation" of Unix. This system is quite well designed with its squashed hexagon shaped box and its thin monitor. These are medium sized desktop cases, usually beige but often came in custom colors. it has a 5''1/4 disk-drive built-in the right part of the front panel, and a hard-disk on the left part. A real-time clock is included to the system. There are 128 semi-graphic symbols available. Altos also produced an 8-bit version of this system, called the ACS-580. 3. I want to OC my XP2200 thourobread. Dose this chip need to be unlocked?
  4. Macs arnt all bad. All though i would have to say that they have gone down hill in the past few years. the coolest one i ever saw was a special eddition mac about 4 or 5 years back. She was a dual 250mhz CPU came with 1.5 GB ram "upgradible to 3 GB" , if i remember right it had 4 40gig ultra wide SCSi set up in raid to look like 1 80 gig "with a back up" AV stuff out the @ss, Dual 21 inch monitors DVD drive, CDR drive. I was built to be the ultamit Photoshop system. I would have loved to get one of those bad boys, At the time the best IBM clone on the market was i think the 266 to 350 P2 and the K6-2 300 to K6-2 350. I was running a K6-300. with 64meg ram and an 8.4 GB hard drive. That mac looked SWEET. But the Imac can burn in He!! for all i care Vash
  5. Well i Was wondering about one model swifetec, the MCW462-UT. www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ex-blc-13.html This one has a pelt builet in to it. I had consitered using a plet for a while now but i felt that there was to great a risc. I was wondering with a built in pelt if there would be any prob. I would think that the MCW462-UT would be ready to bolt on and go. But i would like to find out if anyone knows for shure. Vash
  6. I bet a mill and a surface grinder would be good to have
  7. ive got a cable modem, i cant rember what the error said
  8. you could put an electronic solonoid valve on a line comeing off the copper pipe. Ime not shure how good you are with electronics but build a timer that would open the valve for like 45sec every 30min. then run a line of the side of the reservoir at the level you want the water to stay. run this to your sump pump well or something. then install a standerd water cooling system "except your custom like 5 gallon reservoir" This would keep adding cold water to the reservoir, Keep you water temp down, and you would never have to worry about running low on water.
  9. I kept getting errors and haveing to refresh. i guess each time it also posted
  10. Hi, My new system is getting water cooling. Ive been looking around at water blocks and so far this one has seamed the best. The Swiftech MCW462-UT. So i was wondering has any one hear ran one or is currently runing one. Just want to see if its worth the cash. Or is there a beter one out there. And has there ever been a prob with condensation on this water block cause of the pelt??
