sYstEmATiC Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 wow that thing is a monster. Ive seen pictures before but none of them were tore down, or at angles. Those coolers look like they could adequately cool a budget cpu @ stock clocks. lol

CheeseMan42 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 That is one giant card! I thought my new 4850 was huge, and it is compared to the card it replaced.
kingdingeling Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Man, I might have to revisit my definiton of huge I was at a friends today getting ready to build his rig together where I unpacked a GTX260 and thought that was one big mother... ccokeman Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 If you go from 8.8 to 810 there is a difference. I think it has to do with the Crossfire profiles used by ATI. If your game of choice has no profile then you get no benefit. Big resolutions are where this card shines.
IVIYTH0S Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Great review but this still keeps the 260 Black Edition as my favorite card. I think Nvidia made a healthy comeback agains teh 4870/4850x2's, though they are strong as well. That Black Edition is fantastic
