xly15 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 That fan is not necessary at all. IT is way too expensive too.
Verran Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 That fan is not necessary at all. IT is way too expensive too. Well, and any heatsink has a point where more CFM just doesn't do any good. But having said all of that, I got the impression he was kidding around.

Hey I got that delta! it rocks... just watch your fingers/clothes/etc. it tends to fly around so its good to keep a grill on it. hovers good too
d3bruts1d Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Kids these days... I can remember when 2 or 3 deltas or tornados were common. Now everyone complains about noise...

Amen to that C'mon compxpert, just put whichever cooler you don't have installed in the case next to the cooler you have installed for a quick comparison
PingoPongo Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) Well that 66.5 dBA fan moves 252CFM.... Edited July 29, 2009 by PingoPongo
Verran Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Well that 66.5 dBA fan moves 252CFM.... Right... but the question is: Does 252CFM do any good? I bet if you were to graph cooling performance with CFM you'd see the improvements stop well before 252.

Now u just assumed i was trying to tell that the fan is good, please don't do that, its kinda rude to be honest. I was merely saying that it moves 252 CFM thats why its 66.5dBA, im sorry if u felt offended about me bringing that fact out.

Did you think I was taking a shot at your or something with my comment? I wasn't. I'm just pointing out that 252CFM is actually not very useful in most cases. Since you didn't say it was, I don't see why you're responding so defensively to my post. I don't see anything "rude" in my post at all, nor do I see any implication that I took offense to what you said. I think your reaction is a bit strong for the situation at hand.
