What kind of hardware do you plan to buy in '08?

i plan that by the end of the year i will be getting another new rig or at least some of the newer parts that come out as upgrades

Same with me if all the right hardware comes out i'm going to build a new computer hopefully this year.

i just ordered a Razer Lachesis and a 150 gig Raptor today for the quad rig.

i want to put the OS on the Raptor before i activate my XP install...hehe.

i will definitely be buying a new MB at some point in the future.

i am waiting for somebody to release a new SLI board that actually works and performs well.

there is no way i am going to use an ATI card, and i want dual 8800GTX cards...

I think I've bought everything on the list already in the past 12 months except a Physics card... I'm still waiting to see how the 2nd generation PhysX cards and GPU physics do before I get something...

 

I think I might get a larger, higher resolution monitor... 1680x1050 20" WS is ok, but I used to run 1600x1200 on my 22" CRT and kinda miss the vertical pixels... 1920x1200 should suit my wallet, graphics cards, and it being used at a desk (rather than as a TV)

 

other than that, I pretty much have bought everything I want already... except a full-hardware RAID 5 card which costs more than the four harddrives I want to use with it lol... that's a pipe dream really...

i'm going to build a whole new intel rig, especially with the way these phenom's are working out..lol..but pretty much new everything from case to had drive. will def. be a penryn rig;)

I am getting a Razer krait soon and might get another video card, but that all depends on the games i buy as i dont yet have a need for one
