tutorial:overclocking pentium e5400 on foxconn 2a8ch

Recommended Posts

In this tutorial Im using oem configuration compaq 500b mt with foxconn 2a8ch,this mobo can't be overclocked in bios so we are going to use OC software...

1. download SetFsb http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/download/ver22/setfsb_2_2_134_98.zip

2.install it and reboot your pc.

3.Run it and select pll: cv183apag (if u have different mobo your pll is probably different).

4.multiplier is x13.5 so u should start off with 220 fsb and slowly add few more.... this proc goes up to 3.2Ghz on stock cooler but I wouldn't recommend going above 3Ghz...

5.enjoy your overclocked cpu :)

there is a nice program for monitoring your cpu temperature AIDA64 you can download it here: http://www.aida64.com/downloads

ps. if u want SetFsb to automatically OC when u boot up folow this tutorial: http://www.ehow.com/how_12032951_keep-setfsb-settings-after-reboot.html

Im not responsible for any damage you do to your system.
